I can’t take these earrings off

green earrings

Big earrings seem to be a trend now and even though, as you know, I’m not really one to follow trends or even know what’s going on, this is a trend I can get on board with.

I’m still trying to get better at accessorising, so I didn’t want to go too over the top with a pair of earrings. Also because if I do wear earrings, it’s just a pair of tiny studs, unless I’m going somewhere fancy, which is very rare. So I’m not really used to having something hanging from my ears, hah.

There’s a brand I stumbled upon on Instagram ages ago, @nighttimeholiday, who hand make drop earrings. I loved everything they created but couldn’t make up my mind, so just forgot about it for a while.

Then I started to see everyone wearing those tasseled ones which are very cute, but I wasn’t sure they’d suit me. Soooooo of course I remembered Night Time Holiday and took a proper look at their Etsy shop.

Even though I was craving the large square patch earrings, I wasn’t sure if jumping in at the deep end and getting the biggest pair was the best idea. So instead I went for the Pickle Arches, because they were a bit smaller and of course I love anything green!!

They took about a week to arrive and came in the cutest lil box! It was a really nice touch.

They’re not as much of a bright green that I expected, but thinking about it, I’m not sure a bold green would look as good.

Like I said, I don’t always wear earrings so I can get irritated when I do wear a hanging pair. Which is the main reason I was nervous about ordering them tbf. But they are so lightweight that they don’t bother me.

So everything about them is positive!! And I can’t ignore the retro vibes they give off. That’s probably my favourite thing about them.

Basically, if you haven’t already guessed, I’m in love with them and am currently trying to incorporate them into every look.

Is there a trend that you can’t get enough of?
